GTA joins other U.S. carriers in taking the ‘Keep Americans Connected Pledge’ to protect our most vulnerable and those island residents and businesses who may be financially affected by COVID-19.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) initiated the pledge in March to protect consumers, and by signing the pledge, GTA becomes the first and only carrier in Guam to join in their efforts.
On March 17, GTA announced that it would not terminate service to any residential or business accounts due to their inability to pay their bills as a result of circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic through May 16. We also announced that we would waive late fees incurred through May 16 because of these tough economic times.
